How Long Does the Replacable Filter Cartridge Last? Each Filter cartridge should be changed after 1500 gallons. This would be approximately one year for a family of four, assuming they each drank 1/2 gal. a day and they wash fruits and vegetables in filtered water.

How Does One Change the Replaceable Filter Cartridge? Unlike many brands, the whole system does not have to be thrown away.
